Mancini Beverage Pours It Forward with Stella Artois
In 2017, Stella Artois partnered with water.org, launching a four-year campaign to help support clean water for people in the developing world. The commitment is to help provide 3.5 million people with long-term, sustainable access to clean water by 2020. The message is simple: Buy Stella, Give Water, Change Lives.
The 2019 program will feature “Pour it Forward” messaging, but will be a continuation of the “Buy a Lady a Drink” program from 2018. From January 7th – March 30th, 2019, each 11.2oz bottle or draft pint of Stella Artois sold at retail will equal a one-month donation of clean water. That means, one six-pack will equal six months of clean water and one twelve pack will equal one year of clean water!!
Connecticut Rallies Behind Clean Water
With the support of our customers, Northeast Beverage CT has been extremely successful in executing Stella’s clean water campaigns. By outpacing expectations in on-premise features and off-premise displays, Northeast Beverage CT is proud of its contributions to clean water across the globe. And the team is extremely excited about the 2019 program. Early feedback on the Pour it Forward messaging and feature support has been very strong and there is great confidence that retailers and customers will be eager to support the initiative.
Matt Damon’s Water.org Brings Water to Millions
Water.org was founded in 2009 by Matt Damon and Gary White with the mission of providing access to safe water to those living in developing countries. Right now, 1 in 9 people in the world do not have direct access to safe water, totaling approximately 844 million people. One million people are killed by a water-related disease each year. Since its founding, Water.org has connected 16 million people in more than 13 countries across Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
Water.org feels that direct access to water is a key resource in unlocking prosperity and education, while improving the health of impoverished nations.
